NoodleTools: Quick Cite

Why Quick Cite?

The LC Library offers access to a variety of databases, not all of which have NoodleTools integration. This tab explains how to copy citations from other databases into your NoodleTools projects.

Copy and Paste Citations

Step 1:

Open your NoodleTools project
Click the "New Source" button at the upper-right side of the screen

Step 2:

Choose the type of source from the list

Step 3:

Select "Quick Cite: Copy and Paste a Citation" at the top of the screen

Paste the citation into the "manually-edited citation" box, and then hit save

Double-Check Citations!

Reminder: Citations generated by databases are mostly accurate, but not always 100%. Make sure to double-check your citations before submitting!
